Learn how to deploy Hugo apps with Hatchbox

Hugo is a static site builder that is written in Go.

When Hatchbox detects hugo.toml in your repository, it will run the build steps for Hugo.

Hatchbox will:

  1. Download the latest version of Hugo
  2. Check out git submodules
  3. Build the site with:
bin/hugo --gc --minify

Hugo output the site to the public directory which will be served by Caddy.
